This past week our family went for a short vacation to Missouri. To be more specific, Springfield and Branson! One of our first stops was “The Grandaddy of All Outdoor Stores”… Bass Pro! We had a great time wandering around and looking at all of the animals. Here’s a couple of my favorite pictures from it:
You know we live in Kansas, right? And although there are hills (such as the Flint Hills), there’s a lot of flat ground…
I mean lots of it!
And not that many trees…
So driving around in Missouri was definitely quite a bit different than home and not something we were all completely used to.. Thank goodness for Dramamine though!
Here’s one of the prettiest murals we saw on the way down! After making it to Branson, we had some extra time, so we went to the Historic Downtown Branson area to look around at some of the old shops…
Or at least part of it..
I’ve always wanted to see the inside of the ship, but we didn’t make it there this time. Maybe next year!
We had a great time checking out Bass Pro and a little piece of Branson. If I hadn’t taken so many pictures I would share our Silver Dollar City pics in this post.. But there’s a few hundred too many! So I’ll save them for my next post.
Hope you’re all having a great day!
