Thanksgiving is just around the corner and if you’re the one hosting the family gathering this year, chances are you’re looking around to find some simple (yet beautiful) ideas for decorating and making it look a little more festive.. And you’ve come to the right place!
Today I’m sharing with you 15 of the best ideas I’ve found for easy, breezy decorating. They’re pretty, they’re thanksgiving appropriate and best of all? They’re EASY! (That’s the part that drew you to this post, right? Right. I thought so!)
So here we go. Fasten your seat belts everyone, we’re about to hit our local craft stores!

So one of the first things I think of when I’m wanting to decorate is the table.. What do I put on it? How do I arrange it? Does this make the table look fat? Do I need more butter in that? Maybe some more leaves? How are the potatoes coming? And all sorts of other serious matters in life such as that. So now that you have some ideas for your table, let’s move on to some wall decorations, shall we? What I love about wall decor is that it can add an air of festivity without taking up anymore room on your table, counter or any other flat surface around! And the other reason I love them so much? They’re SIMPLE! It’s so easy to whip them together, hang them up, and voila!

Another fun way to decorate for Thanksgiving (or really just fall in general!) is to add little displays on a table, bookshelf or really any other little flat space. They don’t have to be big, just something simple with some color can really add to the room!
So this idea actually leads back to Etsy, but it’s so simple that I had to include it in here! Jars, flowers, twine, burlap and letters. (But you can just click the link and buy the whole thing if you rather!)
And this last DIY project isn’t a decoration, but rather a leftovers bag and a bunch of other printable! How cute is that?? A DIY leftover bag to whip together and fill with treats for your family to take home after the big meal.
So hopefully you found some great ideas that are making you want to rush towards all of your craft supplies and whip together some crepe paper pumpkins, cute centerpieces or a DIY leftovers bag.. Have fun and Happy Thanksgiving!
