And by planner goodies I mean your favorite pens..
Don’t try to hide it, I know how much you love your pens! (If you didn’t, why are you wanting to make a new pen holder??)
But don’t worry, I’m a big fan of pens too! Which is why I posted this entire review awhile back of my new set… You’ll want to check them out!
So here today, I’ve got a new project for you! Easy (and fun) DIY “Washied” Pen Holders. Find your favorite washi tapes, a mason jar, and your scissors and you’re set to go!
I started with two different skinny washi’s and then I had about three wider tapes. You can layer them or do any pattern you would like on the jar, but I found it worked best when I alternated between the skinny and wider tape.
Here’s the link for the skinny washi I have – I LOVE this set! Amazing colors and quality!
All you have to do is wrap the tape around, cut and then make sure it’s level all the way around the jar. The hardest part was making sure that the tape went evenly around the jar without too many lumpy bumpys under it, so you’ll want to watch that as well!
Here are some tapes I found on Amazon to add to your collection if you’re looking for some wider ones:
I did a couple more jars later on – One with some green leafy tape and another one with a “pastry” theme. Hopefully you enjoyed looking at this tutorial and please drop a comment below when you make one of these!
