I know, I know.. I’m so far behind with this post.. So I had two options: a) forget about it or b) go ahead and share some of the really fun pictures I got! (As you probably figured out, I went with option b!)
Soybeans were being harvested here in Kansas awhile back and I took a bunch of pictures with the plan of doing a blog post.. So now I’m finally getting around to sharing it with you all!
The first little part of the combine peeking out of the machine shed…
And it’s out! My camera hadn’t adjusted to the bright light outside after looking towards the dark inside of the machine shed yet, so it’s a little overexposed here in this picture! But I thought it turned out kinda neat looking…
The ruins of an old house that was in the middle of the field they were cutting in…
And here’s a picture I shared on Instagram that ended up being featured on Agriculture World‘s page!
So that’s a few of the pictures I took during Bean Harvest this year – Hopefully you enjoyed them!
Now I’m off to edit pictures for an upcoming post.. Want a hint?
Think really, really easy and flavorful.. Think something with bananas.. Just in time for these cooler months ahead! It’ll be yummy, I promise!

Omg how cool this must of been to watch! I honey sky have never been to an actual Harvey. Closest thing is a grape stomp at a winery lol

That looks like a wonderful thing to watch. I live around a lot of farm area and when it’s time to harvest it gets busy.
