Hey, guys!
It’s a rainy day here in Kansas. We’ve gone from wildfires and no moisture, to downpours and floods.. Okay, maybe not quite that bad. The river behind our house has gone over its banks once this past week, but didn’t quite make it over the bridges.
So, today I’m sharing about the Barn Sale we made it to yesterday morning! If you’ve been following this blog for any length of time, you know I’ve wrote about the Keriel Dairy Barn sale a couple of different times in the past. (Find more about it here and here.)
Well, they had it again yesterday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. And we of course had to swing by and check it out!
My favorite place of the whole sale was in the barn loft. It was warm and cozy with all of the little lights hanging around, and filled with so many fun things to check out!
In the other ground-level building, there was this one booth that I just couldn’t get over! She had so many cute, cute things in it.. You can find “The K Way Home & Designs” here on Facebook!
But there were so many other booths full of goodies that I couldn’t even look at it all..
Of course, looking back, I’m seeing several things that I’m kicking myself for not buying!! I mean, seriously folks, how cute is some of this?!
Hopefully, by later this fall, I’ll have a new area that needs some furniture and decorating… In other words, I will be back for this table!!
Of course, a barn sale staple is the Diamond in the Rough booth. Andrea now has a new store open in Hillsboro, KS, so be sure to check out her Facebook page for more details and hours!
I just had to pop a picture in of this window that’s been redone into a rustic chalkboard/wall calendar.. Look at how much room there is to write everyday! I could honestly see this hanging in my house, right along with the rest of the rustic/farmhouse inspired decor.
After we got through shopping, of course, we had to go get some ribs and cupcakes!
Kerry had the tables all decorated up in the tent, and so we got to sit and relax for a bit and enjoy our meal. Let me just pause for a minute here and say that the ribs and pasta salad were fantastic!! I like to kid myself and think that I’m a bit of a pasta salad connoisseur, but honestly, this one was delicious.
Now for the cupcakes. Who else do you know of that makes over 1,000 cupcakes for their barn sale, not once, but twice a year? Not only were there tons of cupcakes, but five different flavors! A mixture of lemon, chocolate mocha, coconut cream, chocolate coconut, and carrot cake flavors graced the quilt-covered table in the lower portion of the barn.
It was a bit of a toss-up for me to decide between these two flavors, but the lemon won me over! Be sure to grab some of these if you make it out to the fall sale.
So that pretty much wraps it up for this year’s first barn sale.. It was a ton of fun, had delicious food, lots of great wares, and of course, good friends and new people to meet.
Be sure to check out Kerry’s social media, follow Keriel Dairy on Facebook and Instagram, and come join us later this fall for another fun time!

Totally loving this barn sale, here in the UK we do not have anything like this, similar but not a sale in a barn. it looks like a wonderful day spent hunting for new bits and bos for the home.

The succulents are so pretty! I love the unique way they were potted. I would have gotten a pot or two of them to take home! Barn sales are really great, you get to see stuff that is not sold anywhere else!

Great post! We have something like this where I lived but selling fresh fruits and produce only. My favorite has to be the succulent plants and decors.

I love visiting places like this and I do the same as you…want to kick myself for not making the purchase while I was there. I always second guess prices and if I have the perfect spot for something. And of course when I get home, the spot WAS perfect and I am so mad I didn’t buy whatever it was!! Moral of the story…just buy it!
