What a great way to kick off the weekend – A fun barn sale, packed with all sorts of great things to look at!
Once we got there, there was so much to go check out that you kinda had to just pick a starting place and slowly work your way through! So we started with the booths outside and then worked our way into the shed…
Did I mention the cute little camper that was parked right outside?
No??
I should have – I mean, just look at it!
And of course, I can’t forget to share this adorable little jewelry box – I just love the bright blue!
So once we popped into the the shed, I found this amazing booth called Timeless Fixations! (Follow on Facebook here.) Vintage bowls, tea kettles, lunch boxes, bread tins, etc, you name it! All full of succulents and herbs. (Which I love!!)
And yep, just in case you’re wondering, I did walk away with one! I wanted more but there comes a point when your windows are about to burst with greenery.. Ya know what I mean?!
After the shed, we worked our way up to the barn loft and started looking through all of the booths up there!
I loved looking at some of the signs! We found these made from tin from Diamond in the Rough.. (You can follow them on Facebook here.)
And then these – Also from Diamond in the Rough!
And then on the other wall, there was this big group of signs with Christian song lyrics and Bible verses on them. The glass panes were especially pretty I thought! (I forgot to grab the business card for this booth, but if you’re interested, send Keriel Dairy a message on Facebook and see if they have the name!)
There were so many great crafts and home decor booths that there’s no way one blog post could start to cover them all, but here are some highlights from the sale:
You literally could find almost anything you were looking for in the way of jewelry, crafts, vintage things, unique gifts and home decor.. I loved browsing through some of the more antique things and then poking around in the booths full of repurposed items!
Now after all of that shopping and looking around, we were starved! And who wouldn’t be with the smell of those amazing ribs smoking right outside the barn all morning?! They’d been on since eight, I was told, and we high-tailed it into the barn to grab ourselves some!
Mmmm.. We walked away from the counter with big plates full of pulled pork, ribs and pasta salad. Complete with cupcakes, of course! (They had made over 1,000 cupcakes in preparation for this big day, so we had to try them out!)
Usually I wouldn’t share too much about a cupcake.. But I need to tell you about these – The first one I had was lemon, and I’m sad to say I didn’t make it back to try any other flavors.. Why? It was so good I ended up with more lemon and didn’t try any others! (Not that that’s a bad problem to be faced with, mind you!) I loved how bold the flavor was in not only the frosting, but the moist, yummy cake too!
And you know what the cows were doing this whole time? Munching peacefully behind the barn!
All in all, this was the perfect way to spend our Saturday morning and I can’t wait to go back this fall! If you want more info, check out:

I’ve been to a lot antique malls, but never a barn sale! Being a farmer’s daughter, I loved old barns. Really cool. Sounds like a fun way to spend a Saturday.
