Right now we’re having quite the ice storm! Kansas is blanketed in a thick sheet of wet, mucky ice that started to melt a little today. Now we’re back down to 32 degrees (the high was 34!) so I doubt it’ll be melting much more today. The past couple of days we piddled around on the giant ice rink we used to think of as our yard and driveway and then went over by the horse pen to slide around on the ice a little bit. While the boys tried to sled (they really just fell down a lot!) I took a few pictures that I wanted to share with you all!
Horse selfie! (Biggens got a hold on my camera here and started snapping selfies.. I wrestled it back away from him, but it was too late. He’d taken at least a couple dozen!)
As of right now the ice is even more thick and pretty (these pictures were taken yesterday and the day before) but it’s already getting dark outside, so more pictures will have to wait until tomorrow!
Hope you and yours are all safe and warm!
Ashleigh
